Rent a boat in Zakynthos without a licence
Not always. Some lower-powered pleasure craft can be driven without a licence under Greek rules. That does not apply to every boat in the fleet. We confirm it for the boat you choose before you pay. If you would rather not drive, a skipper comes with you. Collection is at Makris Gialos, Volimes.
What we tell you before you pay
We do not print one horsepower number as if it covered every boat. For the boat you book, we tell you whether a licence is needed before payment is completed in FareHarbor.
The base is Makris Gialos beach, Volimes, Zakynthos, postcode 29091, daily 09:00–21:00, May through October.
With a skipper
If you prefer not to take the helm, the skipper drives and you choose the stops along the Zakynthos coast.
For a first visit to Navagio or inside the Blue Caves, a skippered trip is the safe choice. The entrance takes experience.
